Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Kate, and Duchess Meghan reunite to mourn the late monarch.

Queen Elizabeth II Procession

Since Buckingham Palace announced Queen Elizabeth's death last Thursday, her coffin has traveled from Balmoral Castle in Scotland, to the Palace of Holyroodhouse and St. Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh, and now to London.

The royal family has come together today for the procession of the late monarch's coffin, as well as a reception at the Palace of Westminster.

The coffin is now being moved from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall in London. There, it will lie in state for four days, and mourners will be able to visit it to pay their respects.

Then, on Monday, September 19, a state funeral for the queen will be held and is expected to draw a crowd of nearly one million mourners, in addition to the royal family. The queen's final resting place will be St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, where she will be buried next to her husband of 70-plus years, Prince Philip.

The royal period of mourning will continue for one week after, per King Charles III.

Other royals, including the queen's other three children, Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Prince Andrew, are also in attendance.

Working royals are dressed in military uniforms, as is the custom, to honor the late queen. Non-working royals, like Prince Harry and Prince Andrew, are in black mourning suits. Princess Kate, Duchess Meghan, and Queen Consort Camilla are also dressed in elegant black looks.
