All The Must See Photos From The Opening Of Michael Kors' Collection Store In London

The designer hosted a private cocktail party and seated dinner for some of the industry’s biggest names

On May 9^th, Michael Kors debuted a brand new Michael Kors Collection store on Old Bond Street in London. Set inside an elegant, six-floor Georgian townhouse, the new Michael Kors Collection store is designed to convey the brand’s signature luxury and sophistication.

“We are very excited to be debuting our new Michael Kors Collection store concept on one of the most luxurious, storied streets in the world,” explained Kors. “The new store design puts an emphasis on warm textures and a sense of residential ease that shines a spotlight on the workmanship and design of Michael Kors Collection apparel and accessories.”

Inspiration for the new concept was drawn from the designer’s homes in New York City and Florida and incorporates many of his favorite materials and textures, ranging from blackened steel and raw concrete to gold Calacatta marble and oxidized maple.

The store features an array of products from the Michael Kors Collection line, including both men’s and women’s runway pieces, as well as handbags, accessories and footwear. There is also a VIP space for top clients and celebrities.

In celebration of the new store, Michael Kors hosted a private cocktail party and seated dinner for some of the industry’s biggest names. The evening began with a toast at the designer’s new townhouse before guests proceeded to Beck at Brown’s for an intimate dinner. Guests included, Kate Moss, Gemma Chan, Sonam Kapoor, Caro Daur, Jessica Kahawaty and more. Click through the gallery above to see all the photos from the night.
