Another week, another drama-filled episode of Asia’s Next Top Model to catch up with. Where do we even start with this week’s episode? Well, the central theme of this week’s episode revolved around colour: The first challenge involved the models being split into teams of two, then choosing a colour and having to style themselves with their assigned colours. Here’s the breakdown:
Team Yellow: Sang-In and Julian
Team Red: Angie and Aldilla
Team Blue: Tuti and Patricia
Team Green: May and Tawan
Coached by Zalora’s fashion director Meg Mistry and fashion personality Daniel Boey, the girls had only 10 minutes to dress and accessorise themselves according to their colour. (We know some people take longer than that to choose their shoes for the day!) Ultimately, Tuti emerged tops with her chic, tomboy look that the judges simply loved, and won herself a 15-minute, no holds barred, shopping spree. Girl got away with a ton of stuff, okay?

But the main highlight of this weeks episode was the colour-centred campaign shoot for Zalora, framed against the beautiful Singapore skyline, on a boat. Yes, we’re not kidding: an actual moving boat. While some models made the judges (Yu Tsai, Cindy Sirinya and Meg) go, “yaaaaasss” (we’re looking at you, Angie!), others were not so fortunate and tempers got short. May had to be told not to touch her clothes multiple times by Yu Tsai ,and Tawan and Patricia got him really exasperated.
Oh, and did we mention that the challenge winner would be the face of Zalora for 2016? Stakes raised, right there. The elimination/judging time was moving along smoothly until it was Angie’s turn. Uh-oh. This girl told Yu Tsai that they could do with a little bit less shouting and that sent him over the edge.
Oh no. You did NOT just say that to @yutsai, Angie. —PK #AsNTM4

What the girls failed to realise was that Yu Tsai’s shouting belied his tender heart, and all he wanted to do was push them to be their best selves on set, and to be world class models.
The yelling just comes from a good place, girls. He wants to push you to do your best! —PK #AsNTM4

But finally, when came to shove, it turned out that Julian and Aldilla ended up in the bottom two—with Aldilla going home this week. That rounds off our whirlwind recap of the latest episode and, as always, leave us your comments on Twitter, Instagram and the hashtag #AsNTM4!
Best moment: At elimination, Yu Tsai’s reenactment of Patricia’s jumping antics on the boat cracked us up so hard.
Was I the only who burst out laughing at @yutsai's reenactment of Patricia's attempts at posing? —PK #AsNTM4

Worst moment: When Angie talked back to Yu Tsai at elimination. Not the time or place, girl.
Challenge winner this week: Sang-In! The South Korean beauty is officially the face of Zalora for 2016!
Who got kicked off: Sorry to say, but Aldilla got thrown off the boat this episode.
