If you love the classic claw clip bun hair style, then consider this new update. While it does come with a few more steps, this hairstyle is best suited for those with longer hair. To start, gather all of your hair in one hand and tie it up in a low inverse ponytail. Taking your claw clip, you’ll want to clip the back of your ponytail and let the rest of your hair flow at the top, so it mimics the look of a beautiful high ponytail.

You can never go wrong with a messy bun. But if you’re wearing it all day, it can cause breakage and excessive pulling, which can be really damaging, especially when you have longer hair. Nevertheless, there is a hairstyle that you can try that’s a lot more forgivable. Enter the knotted bun.

First and foremost, start with an inverted ponytail. Then, part your hair into two sections and tie a knot twice to give your hair more texture. Lastly, with the ends of your hair, take a bobby pin (or two) and clip the ends to the back of your bun.

When it comes to quick and sleek hairstyles, this cool hairdo is perfect for you.

All you need to do is to leave a section of your hair at the front and tie the rest of your hair at the back. Then, part your hair in the middle, and spritz some water before brushing your hair flat. If you like, you can also tame your flyaways with some gel for a more polished look, before securing each side with a bobby pin (or two). After doing so, release your hair tie and let your hair down. If you’d like, you can also style it with a curler to add more volume to your hair or you can just leave it as it is.
