A pair of vintage Bally boots inspired André Saraiva’s new capsule range for the Swiss brand, stirring the graffiti artist to apply his signature aesthetic to a range of boots and leather goods. Mr. A, the artist’s cartoon alter ego, features prominently in both the collection and a short film produced for Bally X André’s debut — Saraiva even took over Bally’s Madison Avenue store for a day, spray-painting the character onto its window.
Later in the evening, guests such as movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, model Tao Okamoto and fashion blueblood Margherita Missoni descended on the East Village’s Penthouse at The Standard to celebrate the collaboration, at a party hosted by Bally CEO Frédéric de Narp and Design Director Pablo Coppola.
