As we celebrate our nation's 51st birthday today, we're looking back on an iconic shoot celebrating the modernity of Singapore from our August 2010 issue. Titled 'Metropolis', the shoot features the stunning Marina Bay Sands and bold twisting curves of the Helix Bridge, and is dedicated to the forward-looking spirit of our island. Happy 51st birthday, Singapore!
