Best Beauty Buys: September 2019 Edition

Got an itch to shop, but don’t know what to cop? We’ve got the perfect beauty shopping list for you

September 6, 2019

This September, we have two gorgeous niche fragrances, skincare to brighten stubbornly dull skin, assorted makeup palettes to create versatile looks, and a haircare essential you probably didn’t know you needed. All in all, we’d say that September looks to be a good beauty month.

Best Beauty Buys: September 2019 Edition
1. Floraiku AO EDP
image

An easy way to “refresh” your mindset is to invest in a new perfume, since your sense of smell is so strongly linked to memories. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a fresh start, with a fresh new fragrance? Floraiku AO is the brand’s latest addition to the Forbidden Incense collection. The scent combines warm myrrh and tonka bean with zesty mandarin and green fig to create a surprisingly seductive green scent.

$475 for 50ml EDP and 10ml purse spray set, $100 for 10ml purse spray refill. Available at escentials Paragon and escentials.com from mid-September 2019 onwards.

2. 3LAB Oil Complex Brightening Cream

4. Ryo Hair Loss Care Scalp Deep Cleansing Scaler EX
image

Most people tend not to pay attention to their scalp, thinking that a good shampoo and conditioner is all it takes for great hair. However, did you know that the health of your scalp can make or break your hair, literally? On top of that, the early warning signs of hair loss are scarily subtle: limp, flat hair, a gradually widening part, and an itchy and dry scalp. To make sure your scalp and hair are as healthy as can be, gently exfoliate your scalp twice a week with the Scalp Deep Cleansing Scaler EX.

$19.90 for 145ml. Available at all Guardian outlets and selected Cold Storage locations.
