Angelina Jolie stuck to her failsafe formula for cat eye make-up–with fluttery lashes–and a nude lip. A simple sleek bun kept the focus on her features (and dazzling jewels).
Modelling the popular trend for bold lips paired with minimal eye make-up, Jennifer Lawrence pulled off true-red with aplomb. Her hair was simply styled straight, centre-parted and tucked behind both ears.
The Lancôme ambassador had her make-up done by artist Nick Barose for the brand, who said that he “wanted the make-up to feel regal and fierce”. Explaining that the ‘Panther eyes’ nodded to her movie Black Panther, he added: “Dramatic graphic liner that looks cat like, adds so much toughness and attitude.” When paired with elegant red lips, it gave Nyong’o’s feminine look tougher attitude.
Reinforcing the trend for red, Gemma Arterton paired this bold lipstick with soft smoky brown eyes. Her bob was crafted into a baby up-do, accentuating the glamour.
Margot Robbie’s simple beauty look was all about her glowing skin (which was perfected with the EX1 Invisiwear Liquid Foundation in shade 4.0). Shades of rosy pink added some romance to the look, on her cheeks, lips and eyes.
Lily James accentuated her eyes with winged shadow and feline flicks, while keeping her lips more muted in a dusty pink gloss. In keeping with the beauty consensus, her hairstyle was laid back, with undone waves tucked behind both ears.
Hairstylist Peter Lux created this standout style for Naomie Harris, which looked incredible paired with soft, polished make-up serving to showcase her natural beauty.
Saoirse Ronan’s glowing make-up came courtesy of Glossier’s Haloscope highlighter and Cloudpaint blush (on the cheeks and lips), plus Chanel eye make-up. This is oh-so pretty in pink.
