It's practically a given that an airline lounge in Paris would be stocked with great food. This one serves wines and a menu selected by none other than Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse. These gourmet dishes could include pan-seared sea scallops, beef fillet, or sea bass. It's all served with high-end table service.

When in Hong Kong, First and Business Class passengers should head to Cathay Pacific's newly renovated lounge. The Noodle Bar serves a range of Asian dishes like dan dan noodles, wonton noodles, char siu buns, dumplings, and other Chinese favourites. First Class passengers even have access to the Haven, an in-lounge restaurant serving both Asian and European dishes and a buffet stocked with dim sum.

First-Class passengers on Lufthansa at Frankfurt airport are treated to the VIP treatment before even setting foot in the lounge. At the First-Class Terminal, the airline offers valet parking service for both rental and private cars and also takes care of any checked baggage. These passengers are also assigned a personal assistant to take care of individual travel needs and alert them when it's time to head to the gate. They'll even escort them all the way there.

After checking in, First-Class passengers are transported to the lounge by a personal golf cart ride through the airport. They're also entitled to a 60-minute, full-body massage (choose from a gentle oil massage or the more aggressive Thai-style treatment) in the Royal Orchid Spa. Afterward, they're welcome to enjoy a meal of local specialities like spring rolls, pad Thai, and various curries.

This lounge with a clubby vibe and dimly-lit bar still has all the amenities you'd expect from an upscale facility. There's a business center, restaurant-style food, and even an outdoor deck. Stop into the Clubhouse Spa, where you can indulge in treatments like a complimentary facial using Dr. Hauschka products. Travelers can even pass the layover in the facility's hot tub.

It's stocked with Turkish delicacies like platters overflowing with sweets like baklava and lokma (honey-filled doughnuts). Help yourself to the wide range of wine and spirits, including rakia, Turkey's anise-flavored national drink.

First-Class travellers waiting to board their flight in Singapore won't have to lift a finger inside the Private Room. The service is comparable to a high-end hotel with a dedicated airline check-in counter, porters, and a special immigration line. Inside the Private Room, several attendants are there to refill drinks, serve food ranging from snacks to coursed meals, and personally update you about departure times.

At 136,000 square feet, this lounge is nearly as large as some airport concourses. There's enough room for about 1,800 passengers, meaning you'll never have to fight for a seat. Those with access get a more personal shopping experience than the duty-free boutique. First-Class passengers can also indulge in complimentary treatments at the Timeless Spa, which offers hair and nail services.

Separated into a few different sections, the Senators Lounge boats a whiskey bar with over 120 different varieties. In the First-Class Lounge, find a champagne bar and a spacious terrace with spectacular views of the Alps.
