The Best Summer Weddings Of 2017 According To Instagram

Summer is wedding season–and for good reason, what with all the outdoor options available, the best flowers in bloom, and Couture houses in full-swing. But before most Couture houses get to work on the collections they show midsummer, they finish up "personal orders" which we have come to understand means bridal orders–and lots of them. Which brides, you might ask, are placing orders for the world's most decadent, over-the-top and breathtaking pieces out there? These brides. Fashion girls know how to surprise and delight for the aisle and the after parties that follow it, and give guests a little something extra when it comes to day-of decor. Here, the best dresses and weddings of the season, according to the wedding photo deep-dives we've (admittedly) done on Instagram.

The former VS Angel wed the Snapchat co-founder at their Los Angeles home a couple of weeks ago in an intimate, 45-person ceremony. The bride and groom wore custom Dior, photographs were snapped by famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier and Kerr worked directly with Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri on her Grace Kelly-inspired bridal gown, which she showed off, along with some sweet moments with Spiegel, on her feed.

Arizona Muse wed Boniface Verney-Carron in London a few weekends ago in a custom Alice Temperley gown with a coordinating coat and jewels from Chopard. It appears the duo opted for an incredibly intimate affair, with only close family and friends in attendance. The two then jetted off to a honeymoon in Portugal, before Muse headed to Paris to grace a select few Haute Couture runways. Photo: @arizona_muse

Sports commentator and Dancing with the Stars co-host Erin Andrews wed hockey player Jarret Stoll in Montana in late June in a sunset ceremony designed by BAZAAR Best Planner Yifat Oren. The bride wore a custom gown by Carolina Herrera for the outdoor affair, and expressed her gratitude for their hard work on her custom gown on Instagram after the couple's northwest nuptials.

The Dancing with the Stars judge and NHL player Brooks Laich wed in a romantic ceremony and reception on Lake Coeur d’Alene in Idaho, where Hough spent summers growing up, People reported. Hough turned to designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig from Marchesa on two custom looks–one more simple, strapless A-line gown for her ceremony and a second, jaw-dropping sheer number at her reception. While the ceremony look she donned was the first to hit Instagram, we could not help but swoon over her reception dress, which her stylist and friend, BAZAAR.com contributor Anita Patrickson, posted soon after the couple's lake-side nuptials.

Designer Katie Ermilio wed now-husband Tylee Abbott at her hometown church in Pennsylvania this summer. The bride, who has designed many custom wedding gowns throughout her career, created her own gown for the occassion, as well as looks for her ten-person bridal party, who were clad in soft blush.

Sumner made us swoon when her absolutely stunning Giambattista Valli Haute Couture wedding gown landed in our feeds in early July–on a flower and vine-wrapped swing no less. The indie actress wed the tech CEO in Tuscany in an event designed by BAZAAR.com Best Planner Bash Please–and we are anxiously awaiting more photos of what was clearly one of the most memorable fashion weddings of the year.

Victoria Swarovski, heiress to the famed crystal house, wed investor Werner Mürz in Portopiccolo, Italy in a gown by Michael Cinco that some believe to have set the record for the most crystals to ever embellish a wedding gown.
