Building on the forward-thinking, authentic aims of creative director Nigo and his runway debut for KENZO, the house has brought together eight rising musicians from across Asia for its latest project, ‘Real-To-Be:’ Korean singer-songwriter BIBI, Hong Kong-based singer-songwriter Tyson Yoshi, Taiwan-based Australian singer-songwriter Julia Wu, Vietnamese singer Erik, Indonesia’s Afgan, Australian-Filipino singer and producer James Reid, Thai singer and actor Jaylerr, and Singapore’s very own Aisyah Aziz.

Expressing the very authenticity which the house sought to embody with its ‘Real-To-Wear’ collection, these musicians share a common devotion to their craft and enthusiasm for moving culture forward. Just like the clothes they wear in this latest campaign, their personalities exude a sense of progressive youth which transcends both time and borders – just like the history of the house itself, and Nigo’s rise to the helm.

Splicing traditional ideas of formal-, sports-, and streetwear, the ‘Real-To-Wear’ clothes worn in these campaign photos include a colorful mix of vibrant knitwear, deconstructed tailoring and a unique blend of Japanese and Western sensibilities which has come to define the house. KENZO is also releasing an Instagram Filter ‘’KENZO BERET’’ for fans of the brand to get a better feel for the collection.
