As the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreck havoc around the world, celebrities are rallying together to do their part by donating to those in need and to relief efforts. From Lady Gaga’s One World: Together At Home benefit concert to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ $1 million donation to food banks, here’s a look at how Hollywood is stepping up to help those most affected by COVID-19.

Back in March, the Maleficent actress donated $1 million to No Kid Hungry to provide meals for children going hungry. “As of this week, over a billion children are out of school worldwide because of closures linked to coronavirus. To help raise funds for domestic violence shelters and community-based programs that combat gender-based violence, Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) has launched an initiative called Together For Her. Charlize and CTAOP are committing $1 million to COVID-19 relief efforts, with $500,000 specifically designated towards trusted domestic violence shelters and community-based programs. “During this unprecedented global crisis, we are being told to shelter in the safety of our homes — but what if our homes aren't safe?” the actress wrote on Instagram. “For the millions of women and children around the world sheltering with their abuser, home can be dangerous . . .
