Here’s a piece of exciting news to emerge stateside: Coach and Rodarte will be releasing a special capsule collection come 14 April. The range “explores the idea of mixing textures and the vocabularies of New York and Los Angeles”, combining the very best of Coach’s leather savoir faire with Rodarte’s romantic and fantastical take on demi-couture.

“We love how Coach believes in American luxury and craftsmanship. We also love their incredible archive and the imaging of the brand over the years,” explained Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the sisters behind Rodarte. Stuart Vevers, Coach’s Creative Director, added that the mash-up has yielded a “romantic cool collection that feels right for both houses”. “Rodarte’s conceptual approach to American style was the perfect lens to reimagine nostalgic Coach pieces.” Unfortunately, the collection will not be available in stores here, but you can always head over to Coach.com to place an order.
