Heineken will be showcasing their newly launched Heinekicks—a pair of limited edition sneakers created in collaboration with Los Angeles-based innovator Dominic Ciambrone, also known as “The Shoe Surgeon.” This comes after the launch of Heineken Silver, touted as an easy-to-drink beer brewed for a new generation of drinkers looking for something refreshing to indulge in at social events.

The specially-designed sneakers mirror Heineken Silver’s colourway: sleek green and red with silver accents, and built into the tongue of the shoe is a removable bottle opener. The most notable feature of this collaboration is actually the soles, which bear a striking resemblance to the beverage. Seven of the 32 created Heinekicks will launch in Singapore in Q4 2022.

Limited Edt Singapore also unveiled its first-ever NFT titled “Vanda” at Project Future on 11th August. Only 60 pieces of this exclusive NFT will be available for purchase. Each purchase comes with a Limited Edt X adidas Originals Forum 84 box set—otherwise known as the “Singapore Forum”—which includes the sneakers, a basketball jersey and an exclusive Singapore Forum collectible trading card. Also, each NFT will correspond to a different size of the Singapore Forum.

The Singapore Forum sneakers is special, not only because it’s a collaboration between a Singaporean brand and an international one, but because it’s Limited Edt’s third and final collaborative project. It's also inspired by Peranakan heritage that is unique to this part of the world.

The sneaker features a Limited Edit-designed batik flower pattern, transforming the otherwise all-white pair of shoes into one with rich blue hues. Bonus? Proceeds from each NFT and Singapore Forum box set sale will go towards a local charity, to be revealed at a later date.

The Singapore Forum is on display at L.EWAY at #04-3 at 313@somerset till 14 August.
