After the success of his last collaboration with Japanese fashion retailer, Uniqlo, British fashion designer, JW Anderson is back at it again! This time with a spring/summer collection that is fresh and perfect for Singapore’s hot weather. His previous fall/winter collection for Uniqlo was received extremely well, with many items selling out on the first day itself. Naturally, we weren’t surprised that a second collaboration collection was announced.

Injecting his own interpretation of a British Summer, Anderson was inspired by summery days spent on Brighton beach, a popular British vacation destinatio on hotter months. Of course, his designs for Uniqlo are quintessentially British with lots of stripes, ruffles and plaid. All of which are done in very wearable colours such a true blue, poppy red, white, beige and so on. It’s all about light, breathable layers that are airy and casual. The outerwear reflects this too, with thinner bombers and pocketable parkas that can be folded and packed with ease. Basically godsend for Singapore where it is quite literally always summer.
