When you’re in need of new nail inspiration, one of the best places to look is the runway. From trending polish colours to nail designs you may not have thought of, Fashion Week always offers endless ideas. And the fall 2023 runways were no exception: From a grungy new take on the French mani to a gorgeous deep red, we compiled seven nail trends we can’t wait to try come fall, as well as the products to get the looks.
Lead nail artist Holly Falcone was the brainchild behind this lettered look at Sandy Liang, created with ORLY’s Liquid Vinyl polish and a detailer brush.
If calligraphy doesn’t come easy for you, these nail stickers make it super-easy to recreate.
At Proenza Schouler, Jin Soon Choi did a subversive take on the French mani with this matte black ombré style.
Part of the allure of the look was the matte finish, achieved with the matte top coat in Choi’s own line.

At the Ahluwalia show, Ama Quashie used Pleasing polishes for a multicolor, soundwave-inspired design.

Rich, dark reds are a fall staple. At Brandon Maxwell, Choi used what might be the perfect shade for the season.
At Alice + Olivia, studs made a major comeback. Naturally, they appeared on some of the models’ manis too, courtesy of Choi.
According to the nail pro, you can stick on these little rivets using either clear top coat or nail glue.
