First Look: Lady Gaga Stars In Tom Ford's Spring/Summer 2016 Presentation

Trust Tom Ford to make a statement with his spring/summer 2016 show. Eschewing his traditional presentation in London to press, buyers and selected invitees, the designer has decided to move in a more digital direction for his showing this year. The 32-look strong collection was unveiled in a video starring pop provocateur Lady Gaga, who performed Nile Rodgers's hit song I Want Your Love for the video, as well as a host of famous faces (Xiao Wen Ju, Lexi Boling and Lucky Blue Smith all make appearances) partying it up in Ford's slick sartorial offerings for the upcoming season.

"Instead of having a traditional show this season, I decided to try something new. Having a runway show has become so much about the creation of imagery for online and social media and watching a filmed fashion show can be like watching a filmed play [which is never very satisfying]," said Ford in a statement. "I wanted to think about how to present a collection in a cinematic way that was designed from its inception to be presented online."

Between the high-octane energy of the video, and the multiple celebrity cameos, you can definitely count us impressed. See the full Tom Ford SS16 collection above, and have a look at the video for yourself below:
