Waist Bag

After making a monumental comeback, the fanny pack has officially solidified its spot as a fashion mainstay. Season after season, powerhouse brands present their own takes on the tourist-inspired accessory, which means there is a wide range of options on the market. With no shortage of styles to choose from, you’re bound to find something that appeals to you.

As fashion designers are known to do, the belt bag has been reinvented for the new season. Jean Paul Gaultier showed a subtler take for its spring 2020 couture collection, combining the plush pillow-bag shape with a discreet belted design. Jacquemus's fall 2020 show had a few different waist bags on display, including neutral-toned billfold, body bag, and coin purse designs. Of course, you'd be remiss not to explore the styles on offer from emerging brands too. Brooklyn-based brand Ashya's utility bags are made in a multi-pocket design from quality Italian leather with handcrafted finishes. Plus, they're already Beyoncé approved.

So whether you are looking for a hero bag that you can integrate into your everyday wardrobe or leaning more toward investing in a classic style to stand the test of time, brands of all sizes are providing some stellar options. Ahead, we share the prime styling tips on how to make the waist bag trend feel fresh.
