When Italian fashion house Gucci launched its #GucciGram art project last year, it was a phenomenal success that drew hundreds of artists around the world to reinterpret the house’s signature Gucci Tian, Gucci Blooms and Gucci Caleido prints. This year’s art project sees the house extend the idea to its iconic Gucci Ace sneakers. Working with 19 artists from around the globe, the moving visual project spans everything from stop-motion and animation, to narrative-based film-making and the creation of animated artworks. Released on Instagram and Snapchat, the #24HourAce project follows the artists over the course of the day, over different time zones and to see their own interpretation of the Gucci Ace sneaker. Here, we’ve picked a few of our favourites, but head on over to Gucci’s Instagram or their dedicated microsite to see the full project.
