Piccioli continues to raise the bar
Pierpaolo Piccioli continues to raise the bar for this season's Valentino couture show with his message of inclusivity. Glorious gowns in bright colours, voluminous silhouettes and luxurious fabrics came complete with extravagant details such as feathers, sequins, ruffles, textured elements and floral prints.
The moving presentation brought show-goers (including Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Campbell, and Celine Dion) to their feet as Piccioli emerged to take his bow—with the atelier's craftsmen, no less.
