Rather than keep quiet about an ongoing grievance linked to work or money, voice your objections. And if others respond with caustic answers, it doesn’t mean you must accept the situation as it is and continue to put up with it. Something has to change and you’re the only one who can do anything about it.

You’re growing tired of hearing the whinging of people who feel hugely disadvantaged by their financial set-up. They also have trouble parting with their cash— and as a result, you’ll be tempted to pick up all the bills. Don’t. You’ll end up feeling resentful and be on the slippery slope to rifts and ructions.

As a series of mishaps leads you to lose confidence in somebody else’s skills and judgement, you’ll wonder whether to seize control of any area in which the same mistakes could occur time and again. But that’s not the answer. Insist on bringing ongoing concerns to a head, however risky or scary it might seem.

Go out of your way to reassure family or friends that your latest adventure needn’t threaten your closest relationships. But also be honest with yourself about how easy it would be to become distracted by all that’s rare and exciting coming on offer. Will you be able to integrate the old with the new? You must.

Someone injecting radical ideas into a long-term plan will infuriate you. However, around 11 August, when the Sun confronts Uranus, you should be able to step back and take a dispassionate view of whatever’s being suggested. Just remember raising objections on principle could lead to missed opportunities. Aim for balance and open-mindedness.

Irrespective of how willing you are to strive within a tough area, accept that there won’t always be solutions to the problems. Also consider the possibility that if you were to down tools to prove a point, you may bring about a good outcome. Sometimes, doing nothing is more productive than trying to do everything.

Decisions around finances, property or the family set-up will seem daunting. However, Mercury befriending Uranus and Pluto should give you access to intuition and insights with which you’ll gain clarity on even the most complex matter. Anyone opposing your views will eventually come round to your way of thinking, provided you persist firmly but politely.

Try not to succumb to the greed or cunning of others. And certainly don’t compromise your own high standards simply to keep the peace. You have a reputation to safeguard and unfortunate circumstances have led you into territory where you don’t belong. If things are unlikely to change, perhaps you need to move on.

It may be time to accept the fact that a power battle exists between yourself and somebody close. Although the impact of it is quite subtle, it can make you feel awkward when it’s at its worst. Until you find a way to confront it in an open and transparent way, the situation won’t improve.

The route to success in a particular area will seem guaranteed until a Mars- Saturn clash in early August presents you with an ethical dilemma. Momentarily, you might well be tempted to look after your own interests rather than anybody else’s. But not for long. You of all people know the difference between right and wrong.

Energy levels may have become depleted, especially within areas where you’re given little support. True, you’ll benefit from cosmic shifts that are about to provide you with more dynamism and focus than has been the case for some while. But you must resist the temptation to push yourself so hard that you suffer from burnout.

Differences of opinion around property or investments will sit uneasily with you. And by late August, when Saturn opposes Venus, your patience will run out. Promise yourself not to remain silent for so long that anger and frustration reach boiling point. Far better to speak your mind while you still sound sane and sensible.
