A beacon of hope and inclusivity was what Louis Vuitton’s store at Marina Bay Sands looked like for one magical night in January. In celebration of its men’s spring/summer 2019 collection launch in Singapore, the French luxury house lit the glass façade of its Island Maison in a prism of light that reflected the rainbow leitmotif of Men’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh’s debut collection for the brand. The story continued inside where a The Wizard of Oz theme invited A-list guests—including Desmond Tan, Tabitha Nauser, Benjamin Kheng and Iman Fandi—to follow the yellow brick road and acquaint themselves with the collection. The icing on the cake? A one-night-only technicoloured party space on the third level of the store that saw DJ Kaye of Darker Than Wax and DJ Myrne filling the air with audio beats that any dance-loving munchkin would approve of.
