Treat yourself (and the women in your life) to a relaxing afternoon of indulgence with The Marmalade Pantry’s Lavender Bloom Afternoon Tea Set ($78++ for two people). The exclusive two-tiered set, created for the special occasion, features a selection of treats in various purple hues, in-line with the official colour of International Women’s Day

This year, The Fullerton Hotel is once again presenting their iconic Purple Afternoon Tea experience, an annual initiative to contribute to fund-raising efforts for women’s empowerment. A portion of the proceeds ($5) of each adult’s purple-hued Afternoon Tea set will be donated to United Women Singapore, a non-profit organisation that aims to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment by promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) for girls and advocacy on the prevention of domestic violence.

In addition, dress in any shade of purple and you’ll receive a complimentary glass of the ‘Purple Bloom’ cocktail, a luscious blend of gin, black grapes, blueberry and fresh basil, topped off with champagne.

Want to unwind with a girls’ night out? Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is joining in the celebrations with Gin Wednesday. At the hotel’s restaurant, Crossroads Cafe, A Tasting Flight experience ($28++ per person) awaits you.
