The new proportions that Givenchy‘s Matthew Williams gave with wider shoulders, long and elongated silhouettes with classic tailoring and references to the DNA of the House was a refreshing take. Dramatic black gowns played with new drop waist proportions and exaggerated full ball gowns came with knitted singlet tops. Urban layered looks have a rugged edge to the collection and was a delicious exploration of khaki on khaki and lots of texture. The refreshing palette cleanser of neon bright sheer long dresses gave a new proposition for evening wear with a sporty edge.
