Jonathan Anderson is one busy, busy man. Besides overseeing his namesake brand and making creative decisions as top honcho at Loewe, he’s also working on collaborations that further attest to his reputation as one of fashion’s most hardworking designers. Anderson’s latest collaborator? Uniqlo, the Japanese purveyor of affordable basics. “For me, the point of doing this collaboration was that I believe in democracy in fashion, and what I hope will be achieved is that any age demographic can pick up and find something within the collection to relate to.” The 33-piece collection for men and women, which comprises colourful knits, ruffle skirts, tartan jackets and striped scarves in signature Anderson codes, will be available in Singapore from 22 September onwards.
