This past weekend, Louis Vuitton staged its first women’s pre-fall show on the Jamsugyo Bridge—”a living work of architecture that exists in harmony with the water’s whims, a perfect allegory for transformation”—at the Han River in Seoul.
Taking inspiration from travel and movement, the wearable collection also embraced modern and traditional house motifs. From puffer jackets and oversized windbreakers to breezy dresses and leather separates, flat boots and chunky belts, the collection focused on relaxed, sporty tailoring. Standout pieces include suits layered over lingerie, low V-neck tops and oversized pyjama co-ords with metallic embellishments.
