Confirmed: Louis Vuitton x Supreme Is Now A Reality

What do you get when high fashion meets hypebeasts? Louis Vuitton's insane collaboration with American streetwear brand Supreme, that's what! Unveiled at the French luxury brand's fall/winter 2017 men's fashion show yesterday, the rumours of a potential Supreme co-branded collection were confirmed.

Models came down the runway in denim jackets, chambray baseball shirts with a special Louis Vuitton and Supreme monogram mash-up, toting some of the most covetable accessories right now.

Talking to Vogue.com about how the collaboration came about, menswear artistic director Kim Jones said, “It was Michael Burke, the CEO of Louis Vuitton, called me up one day and said, ‘Do you know the people at Supreme because I’m really interested in the brand and I’d like to talk to the founder,’ who’s James Jebbia, who I know. So I said you can get his number off me if we can do a collaboration with them! And we sort of started there. Michael was very into it and very supportive.”

It's a masterful stroke of design and marketing genius for the French luxury label, and if we know anything, it's this: Better get your credit cards ready and stand in line. This is bound to be a sell-out collection.
