Here's Who Might Make Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Wedding Guest List

We’re about four months out from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Big Fat Royal Wedding, so if you haven’t received a save-the-date card by now, it’s probably not going to happen, champ. Thoughts, prayers, etc.

But, thanks to Harry’s connections and Meghan’s Hollywood career, there are bound to be a few famous folks who are right now frantically trying on ceiling-scraping hats, practicing curtseys, and reminding themselves to never, no matter what, touch the Queen. Though the groom has played it coy about who's made the cut, Meghan’s Suits costars have surely wrangled invites, and a pop star plus a former POTUS might also be in the mix.

Some of these are sure bets; some are longshots. And just as we couldn’t have predicted that Guy Ritchie, Joss Stone, and Mr. Bean (MR. BEAN!) would get the green light for Will and Kate’s wedding, there will no doubt be a few curveballs on Meghan and Harry’s list, too. When it comes to friends, everybody’s got a random.

The honor of being the first (and, probably, only) 'Pretty Little Liar' to hobnob with the Queen goes to Bellisario, wife of Patrick J. Adams. Though Meghan didn’t make it to the 'Pretty Little Liars' actress’ 2016 nuptials, she’ll likely extend an invite to her own celebration.

Jacinda Barrett

You may recognize this Australian actress from 'Bloodline' or 'Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason', but she’ll always be Jacinda from 'The Real World: London' to us. Barrett also happens to be the wife of 'Suits' actor/friend-of-Meghan Gabriel Macht, which means she’s assured a plus-one. Congrats: It’s time to go shopping for hats.

David and Victoria Beckham

One good power couple deserves another. Posh and Becks were among the celebrity guests at Will and Kate’s wedding, and Harry’s social and philanthropy ties to David could make it a repeat honor. Really, we just want to see Victoria wear an insane hat. Or design the bridesmaid dresses. Or reunite the Spice Girls and perform “Say You’ll Be There” at the reception. Literally just any one of those, please.

James Blunt

The singer—who also counts Harry’s cousin Beatrice as a bud—once served as the groom’s superior officer during their time in the military. The royal recruited him to perform at last year’s Invictus Games, which means the odds of "You’re Beautiful" being the first dance are appallingly high.

But why have James Blunt sing when you’re also pals with Rihanna? Harry teamed up with RiRi during his 2016 tour of her native Barbados, which is part of the Commonwealth. Every royal wedding needs a queen—and last time we checked, Elizabeth II didn’t know the words to “We Found Love.”

Count the tennis champ as an official F.O.M. (Friend Of Meghan). The pair have been friends since 2014, and Serena once said, "Her personality just shines. I told her: 'You’ve got to be who you are, Meghan. You can’t hide.'"

Believe it or not, Mr. Bean (AKA Love Actually’s excruciatingly slow salesperson) has one of the strongest shots at scoring an invite, and it’s all because he’s pals with Prince Charles. Shrug.

Priyanka Chopra

The 'Quantico' actress won’t just make the guest list; she’s also a hot favorite to be one of Meghan’s bridesmaids. Chopra reportedly befriended the bride-to-be at a party a couple of years ago, and she’s been a vocal supporter ever since—one time she seven called out a magazine cover for diminishing Meghan's accomplishments and focusing on her royal romance. That kind of loyalty should, at the very least, earn her a loaner tiara and a seat next to a foxy foreign prince (not Philip).

Elton John

The singer’s close friendship with Princess Diana bagged him an invite to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 2011 wedding, where Ellie Goulding performed his hit "Your Song" for the couple’s first dance. He also collaborated with Prince Harry on an AIDS/HIV campaign in 2016, and spoke glowingly of the royal in a 2017 documentary about his late mother. If Elton doesn’t feel the love, consider it a major snub.

Assuming it’s not some weird breach of royal protocol to have your TV fiancé in the church, Meghan’s Suits love interest should almost certainly be warming a pew at St. George’s. If his twitter reaction to her engagement is anything to go by, though, the Archbishop of Canterbury might want to skip over that whole "speak now or forever hold your peace" bit.

The Rest of 'Suits'

Along with Adams, 'Suits' stars including Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, and Rick Hoffman are likely to receive a wedding summons. Former 'Wire' star Wendell Pierce, who played Meghan’s onscreen father in a recurring role, is another possibility.
