Meghan Markle First Royal Ascot

Each year, thousands of people gather in the small English town of Ascot for one of the biggest events for British high society, the Royal Ascot. The posh, 5-day horse racing event began in 1711 and is annually attended by the Queen and other members of the royal family. This year, Meghan Markle made her first Ascot appearance as a the Duchess of Sussex. With Prince Harry and other British royals, she rode in on a horse-drawn carriage, sported an impressive hat, and watched the activities from an exclusive viewing area. Here, we're highlighting all the best photos from the opening day of Royal Ascot 2018.
