Josiah Chua had a viral moment last year when he customised sneakers from the McDonald’s BTS Meal packaging and sent fans of the Korean boy band into a tizzy. Though he studied fashion design, locally and in Tokyo, the 34-year-old freelance fashion creative and visual artist views himself more as an artist who creates through the lens of fashion and art. He describes his eclectic and easygoing style as “fashion street fighter”.
