Milan Fashion Week: 10 Best Looks From Gucci Spring/Summer 2020

A little bit of 70s, a little bit of fetish, but a whole lot of Gucci

Alessandro Michele's latest collection for Gucci was titled Orgasmique, and he very much infused elements of sex and fetish into the already eclectic collection, staged on the last day of Milan Fashion Week. Taking inspiration from the '70s with its retro silhouettes and accessories, expect boxy cropped suiting with wide-legged trousers as well as slinky lace dresses with sexy accessories. Michele has been injecting notes of provocativeness into his collection and this one is definitely a step forward.

Next season's must have accessory—oversized sunglasses with its chunky acrylic chains—is another nod to the '70s, but with a Gucci touch, no less. Always about making a statement and conveying an ethical message, Michele brazenly started the show with a line-up of models clad in straitjacket-like pieces in various forms. "Society controls, confines and regulates life."
