New York was feeling particularly glitzy yesterday morning, as Gucci presented its first Cruise show led by creative director Alessandro Michele. It wasn't just your regular fashion show—the streets of New York were closed just so the models could walk down the roads into their main venue, the Dia Art Foundation, a non-profit organisation that preserves art projects.
The collection reminded us of old school New York, with retro and eccentric prints and a combination of colours only Michele can think of. Hollywood A-listers such as Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson were also present at the event, so as established designer Alexander Wang. Here are some of our favourite looks, as well as the front row attendees. Enjoy!
