Last week Mastercard released its Global Destination Cities Index, which ranked the 132 most-visited cities and fastest-growing destinations around the world. The seventh annual list measures international overnight visitors to predict which places will be the top destinations of 2016.
Bangkok, Thailand took the top spot this year, with 21.47 million international visitors. London was next, and Paris, Dubai, and New York rounded out the top five.
