H&M's new designer collaboration with Mugler might be its most anticipated one yet. Following news of the exciting collab last month, H&M has just released the first images of the collection and a campaign video starring music artists Shygirl, Amaarae, Eartheater and Arca, who record their own take on Stardust’s 1998 dance hit ‘Music Sounds Better With You’.

The collection, available online and in select stores from 11 May 2023, will "encapsulate the unique and vibrant spirit" of Mugler. An inclusive range of menswear and womenswear comprising the brand's signatures such as daring cut-out bodysuits and edgy denim separates offers Mugler fans the opportunity to purchase pieces at an accessible price point.

The collection has also paid tribute to the house's founder Manfred Thierry Mugler with the inclusion of a series of limited-edition archive remakes selected by Casey Cadwallader for their "contemporary resonance and their testimony to Mugler’s central role in the glory years of 80s and 90s catwalk drama."

Appointed as Mugler's lead in 2018, Cadwallader has become known for his sheer, figure-hugging designs—a go-to for celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Megan Fox, Dua Lipa and Cardi B. “It is truly an honour to collaborate with H&M. The collection is a celebration of everything that defines Mugler as a house and each piece is authentic Mugler, from the bodysuits, which have become a signature of ours, to the sharp tailoring and worked denims. It is a showcase of our icons,” said Cadwallader.
