Bringing dreamlike visions of Rome to the heart of Qatar, a brand-new exhibition titled Forever Valentino has arrived at Doha’s art center M7 – the maison’s largest exhibition to date. Paying homage to founder Valentino Garavani and celebrating his legacy of haute couture excellence, the exhibition was curated by the Artistic Director of New Museum New York, Massimiliano Gioni, in conjunction with Alexander Fury, Fashion Director of AnOther Magazine, and Valentino’s current Creative Director, Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Billed as a ‘perspective’ rather than retrospective exhibition, the presentation will walk visitors through over six decades of Valentino history, displaying some 260 looks from its Archives, Haute Couture and Pret-A-Porter collections, while also looking ahead at the exciting things in store for the brand under Piccioli. The exhibition also explores Valentino’s heritage in Rome, the brand’s birthplace, and how Roman identity remains centric to the brand’s mission and vision.
