Zayn Malik‘s robot arm as worn to the 2017 Met Gala attracted a slew of headlines, so it’s no surprise that he should feature in one of the film’s Met Gala scenes. He was seen leaving the set in January 2017 in a white tuxedo jacket and black trousers.

Alexander Wang is one of several designers to appear in the film. As a Met Gala regular (he’s been seen on the arm of Bella Hadid and Lady Gaga in the past), his appearance will no doubt make the scene more authentic.

The cameos aren’t limited to fashion – tennis ace Maria Sharapova told Sport 360 that she has a “small role”, but isn’t sure if she’ll make the final cut. “I think in the end you don’t know if your part will be actually in the movie. It was a really nice invitation,” she said. The director was very nice to work with and I was alongside very talented individuals so it just, it’s a different experience. It’s very different from what I do and I enjoy being part of those things.”
One of the most surprising reported cameos comes by way of Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova, who is rumoured to make an appearance – although it’s not been confirmed.
