This season, Valentino paid homage to love. Pierpaolo Piccioli tapped Jun Takahashi from Undercover to create collages featuring neoclassical sculptures of kissin lovers and roses that were printed and appliquéd on dresses, tops and coats. Tailored shapes and beautiful cuts were evidenced in dresses with fluted panels, form-fitting tunics and ethereal, ruffled gowns. Contemporary with streetwear sensibilities, this collection was yet another win for Piccioli.
