From opening and closing looks featuring a map print and a gradation of colour intensity, to loose silhouettes which conveyed freedom, Chitose Abe’s Sacai show delivered a hybrid synergy unlike anything we’ve seen this season. The looks showcased ingenious pattern-making and bold experimentation—evident in half-knit, half-chiffon dresses, chiffon and feathered numbers, as well as structured yet easy separates—and were finished off with rope belts and carabiners for a refreshingly sporty take.
