Nadége Vanhee-Cybulski is now into her fourth collection at Hermès and it’s becoming clear that her work for the Parisian brand is all about channeling the skills of the House into creating effortless clothes for women to live and move in.
The latest Spring/Summer 2017 show saw her taking a more relaxed route compared to the previous seasons—this was practically peppered with pieces today’s women can easily relate to.
Flashes of dusty pink, fuschia, mustard and moss green gave the collection the visual kick it needed. Some standouts? A knitted frock that hung on the body gracefully, plus a jumpsuit cut with razor sharp precision. One of Hermès’ many strengths lies in the way it manipulates leather in unexpected ways. Naturally, those turned heads, whether it was a divine pair of trousers or a dress with ribbed detailing at the waist.
