Prada Surprised Everybody With A Surprise Womenswear Show At Milan Men's Fashion Week SS17
Trust Miuccia Prada to spring a surprise when no one's expecting it
Last night, Prada showed its Spring 2017 menswear collection in Milan, but—as always with Miuccia Prada—it came with a surprise. The Italian designer also put forth 15 womenswear looks as a nod to the Cruise season. This trend of showing womenswear Cruise collections alongside the men's collection is not a new occurrence (see Alessandro Michele's Gucci menswear shows and you'll know what we mean), but Mrs Prada seems to be buying into the idea as well. In line with the menswear collection's overt activewear themes, the women's looks also took its cues with sporty stripes and whimsical prints paying homage to sport.
