For Fall 2021, creative director Walter Chiapponi hones in on a more feminine and refined facet of Tod’s sportswear lexicon. The set of the pre-recorded video is modern, quiet and intimate. Besides the clothes, the camera also focuses on the models’ facial expressions and body language, which allows us to know these characters, as they each play out a different personality of the Tod’s woman.

Roomy macs and oversized quilted leather puffers are elevated with ruffle collars, while long padded leather coats in leather or nylon featured seams run uninterrupted over the vertical bodyline. Similar padding runs through dresses, skirts and also wide brimmed hats, bringing these classic archetypes into the athletic realm. One of the most interesting highlights is a blue pleated shirt and skirt ensemble, synched delicately by a skinny belt.

Other noteworthy high points include the scaled up hobo bags that are body-forming and softly constructed so that they seem to wrap effortlessly around the shoulder, as well as the slouchy coats that are loosely knotted at the front to form interesting silhouettes.
