Tod’s Spring Summer SS22 collection conveys a certain lightness and exuberance, a message of freedom, if you will. The ware on display was an exercise in functionality informing style. The offerings include outerwear doubling as dresses, double-breasted peacoats and hooded raincoats all worn with chunky sandals or boots.
Many of the looks echoed the direction of the Tod’s Spring Summer 2022 Men’s collection. Think tough fabrics mixed with easy tailoring — a wardrobe made for the urban adventurer. In the women’s collection, safari suits like those in the menswear collection were reimagined into dresses, sometimes worn oversized with knicker shorts showing playfully underneath, or buttoned high and belted at the waist for a more lady-like spirit.

There was also a strong spotlight on the accessories: Sandals and sneakers with macro rubber soles, as well as loafers and ankle boots with elevated platforms. As for arm candies, the compact T Timeless handbags in classic hues such as brick and brown alongside notes of yellow, turquoise and bright red are to die for.
