Seoul Fashion Week: The Best Looks From Pushbutton FW17
Workwear and streetwear collided in an exuberant expression of fashion at Pushbutton’s fall/winter 2017 show

At first glance, you would mistake Pushbutton’s recent presentation at HERA Seoul Fashion Week FW17 for a run-of-the-mill collection, but look closer and you’ll realise the cleverness of the details. A twist of fabric here, a cinched in waist there, a flash of clashing colour… And the subversive sexiness above all.
The shoulders were an important focal point of the collection: Coats were deliberately pulled off to reveal them; dresses showed off the shoulders to great effect; and they were exaggerated in a way reminiscent of the ’80s power style. But it was mostly for a collection for the young, with its bold graphic prints and striking colour palette — in particular, we loved the sculptural coats with hoodies layered underneath, and the sexiness of the covered up yet figure hugging silhouettes of the dresses.
