Simply Divine: Styling Chanel's Fall/Winter 2022 Haute Couture Collection
From intricate guipure and ennobled lace to full-on sequins and braid details, Chanel’s fall/winter 2022 haute couture collection showcases the best from its ateliers.
Haute couture takes on a different meaning for every designer, but for Chanel's Artistic Director Virginie Viard the wearer's needs are still at top of mind. First presented in the heart of Paris’ Bois de Boulogne park, where the classic 1958 film Gigi opens, Chanel's fall/winter 2022 haute couture collection epitomises what many think of when they think about Paris. Elegant, timeless and effortlessly beautiful, thanks to elements of design which feel both romantic and relaxed. Keeping an eye on a 1930s silhouette, Viard challenges herself through this collection to see just how far the maison's iconic tweed can go. Intricate lace and beading designs adorn ready-to-work pant suits and pleated dresses, making this a collection you won't mind wearing to the office.
