When Surrender throws a party, trust that the street style cognoscenti will turn up in full force...twice. And, that there will be roving creatives shooting footage to be processed and published in grainy, cinematic fashion. Because, if an interesting snap's not on Instagram, did it really happen?

Marking the official opening of the multi-label boutique since relocating to 268 Orchard Road, two parties served as the launching pad for an exclusive capsule collection created in collaboration with artists DRx Romanelli and Cali Thornhill De Witt. Hailing from LA, DRx is a notorious cultural clothing alchemist, best known for deconstructing and recomposing garments with a clash of fabrics and details; while Thornhill boasts artistic collaborations with Off-White’s Virgil Abloh and is the man behind Kanye West’s Life of Pablo merchandise.

The highly coveted collection — comprising nine one-of-a-kind reversible jackets (that spell out S-U-R-R-E-N-D-E-R), a series of T-shirts, patches and a set of triptych textile artworks — was first shot in Paris by photographer, Christina Paik, who was also in town to celebrate.

With flutes of champagne in hand, over 200 luxury street wear collectors, enthusiasts and insiders streamed through the boutique, stopping for a Boomerang or two with the jackets and the designers. Surrender's own swag queen, Mae TanBulletproof singer, Tabitha Nauser; and model, Fiona Fussi — all of whom are #TeamBAZAAR — were natural stand outs, as was Linda Hao on the DJ decks.
