That jeweller Tamara Comolli’s designs should be crafted in both Italy and Germany is a reflection of her peripatetic background: born in Germany, she was also raised in Spain, Gibraltar and France. In 1992, she decided to create her own line of jewellery, adopting the acorn and water drop as signature motifs (they are important symbols of her carefree childhood).
Comolli won the International De Beers Diamond Award in 2004, beginning a decade of rapid growth where she opened three standalone boutiques in Germany and two in the United States, in addition to being stocked at jewelers worldwide. In 2015, clients abroad were able to experience the complete Tamara Comolli lifestyle thanks to the launch of her e-commerce platform.
Using hand-selected gems and subject to rigorous quality controls, the unique acorn-shaped charms on a single Mikado Flamenco bracelet must be sourced from at least ten different suppliers due to the uncommon shape of the raw stones required to carve them: just one example of the Tamara Comolli’s uncompromising pursuit of excellence.
Tamara Comolli is now available exclusively at LaPrendo online and at 391 Orchard Road, #03-08C, Ngee Ann City Shopping Centre.
