With award show season winding down, the 2021 BRIT Awards gave the music industry's finest an opportunity to pull out all the stops on the red carpet. Understanding the assignment completely, stars like Taylor Swift and Celeste arrived at London's O2 Arena in ensembles featuring lots of feathers and eye-catching embellishments. Meanwhile, Harry Styles and singing trio Haim took the well-tailored route, opting for sharp suiting separates with absolute precision. Why: The former boy-bander arrived fully decked out in a well-tailored double-breasted suit from Gucci with its archival bamboo bag in hand. Staying true to his own aesthetic, he opted for a slightly unbuttoned dress shirt underneath in a complimentary shade and gum-sole sneakers to give the checked suit a more laidback feel.

Why: As an alternative to the free-flowing gowns you may be used to, the singing trio went for sharp, menswear-inspired tailoring instead. In very different yet also complimentary looks, the band showed off their cool-girl style in a way that felt refreshing on the red carpet. Why: In true Dua Lipa fashion, the singer wore a camp-inspired corseted look on the red carpet from Vivienne Westwood couture that was channeling Marie Antoinette in the modern day.
