The Prada triangular logo has been popping up a lot at the Italian house ever since Raf Simons came onboard as co-creative director last year. Since then, this quintessential house code has been reappropriated as embroidered patches, prints, brooches, earrings and shoe buckles.
For good measure, Miuccia Prada and Simons have blown up the symbol and turned it into the silhouette of a new Spring/Summer 2022 bag line for both men and women simply dubbed as the Prada Triangle.
The Brutalist lines of the triangular bag make the style a natural fit into the growing trend of unconventional bag shapes favoured by the fashion set these days – think the novel ball designs popularised by Marine Serre or the Loaf tote seen at Yuzefi.

Available in a series of colourways such as black, white and yellow, the Prada Triangle’s spartan design and roomy proportions belie the brand’s functional design philosophy. Even the logo here is a subtle affair: a large tone-on-tone Prada logo embossed on the bag.
The bag is available as a crossbody in Saffiano leather for men and in soft leather for women (with an added accessory of a pouch on the adjustable nylon strap). If you prefer something less athletic, the wrist pouch in leather and handbag in canvas might do the trick.
