The World's Most Valuable Pink Diamond Is Up For Auction

And ten dazzling pink gems to get your hands on

the pink star diamond

Listen up, ladies! A 59.6-carat oval mixed cut pink diamond is set to be auctioned at Sotheby's Hong Kong on 4th April 2017. With an estimated price in excess of US$60 million (about S$84 million), The Pink Star is the largest Internally Flawless Fancy Vivid Pink diamond that the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has ever graded.

“At a time of unprecedented demand for the finest in coloured diamonds, I am delighted to be bringing this magnificent stone back to the market.  The extraordinary size of this 59.60-carat diamond, paired with its richness of colour, surpasses any known pink diamond recorded in history,” says David Benneth, Worldwide Chairman of Sotheby's Jewellery Division.

While the cotton candy-hued diamond is extremely desirable, the exquisite stone is probably out of reach for most of us. But fret not, we've got you covered! Click through our gallery for ten more dazzling pink gemstone jewellery pieces that you can get your hands on.
