The long-awaited Formula One Grand Prix is back in Singapore after a two-year hiatus and we couldn’t be more excited about it. Aside from the fast cars that will be racing down our streets, the event will also bring about lots of concerts from your favourite artists, fringe activities and special dining deals. With Singapore being its next pitstop in the F1 schedule, we can only imagine the excitement running through our veins. Will Max Verstappen take the Driver’s Championship title here in Singapore? Or will we see an unexpected turn of events for the lineup?
Of course, if you’re not into the race itself, you don’t have to worry because there will be lots of activities that you can look forward to as well including concerts featuring acts like Green Day and Westlife at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix Concert or you can even attend other events like the Mandala Weekender that will be held at the Sands Convention Centre.
To help you navigate your way through the list of activities, we’ve decided to gather some of the events that will be happening here on our little red dot during the upcoming race weekend.

This may be a total no-brainer but this particular race is especially important for this season because Max Verstappen from Redbull Racing might just be winning the Driver’s Championship if he places first in the race here in Singapore. Currently, the Dutchman leads the Driver Standings with 335 points, followed by Charles Leclerc from Ferrari with 219 points, and Sergio Perez from Redbull Racing with 210 points.
Aside from the exhilarating race, you can also expect to see the return of a star-studded entertainment lineup after the race with about 92 acts performing across nine stages at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix Concert. Some of the headlining acts that will be taking centre stage over the weekend include Westlife, Green Day, Marshmello, Black Eyed Peas, The Kid Laroi, Suede and TLC.
There will also be local acts that will be performing as well like Eatmepoptart, Shigga Shay, AKA Sounds, Ice Cream Sundays and Inch.

The party never stops during the F1 weekend here in Singapore! Over at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, private members club, Mandala Club, will be hosting a race viewing and party experience for its club members, VIPs and the public. Of course, the party isn’t complete with the inclusion of some international and local acts that will be helming the stage over the course of the weekend. Here, you can expect to see the likes of Rae Sremmurd and Kelis who will be performing on 30 September, Armand van Helden and Louie Vega with Anané on 1 October, and Basement Jaxx and Rudimental on 2 October.
Haven’t had your fill of partying? Marquee Singapore will be hosting international acts like Steve Aoki and Afrojack over the weekend at the nightclub on 30 September and 1 October respectively. Aoki last performed in Singapore back in 2019 and will be returning for an exciting party pit-stop during the F1 weekend. The electro-house legend, known for caking his audience, has collaborated with many artists such as Afrojack, BTS, Linkin Park and many more. Joining him is Dutch DJ and music producer Afrojack himself, who is known for his tracks Ten Feet Tall and No Beef, of which he has also worked with multiple artists in his time such as Pitbull, Sting, and Beyoncé. Tickets for the event are now available on their site, with tickets starting from $80 (for ladies) and $100 (for gents).

Happening from the 1st to 2nd of October, Amber Lounge will be hosting its exclusive after-party over at Clifford Pier at The Fullerton Bay Hotel. Pop a bottle of champagne or enjoy your favourite cocktails while you dance the night away. International music acts like Dutch DJ Oliver Heldens, Swedish singer-songwriter John Martin and American rapper Fatman Scoop, will also be helming the decks and there will also be theatrical cabaret and cirque-themed performances throughout the event as well.
Perched on the 51st floor of the CapitaSpring skyscraper and overlooking the Marina Bay Circuit, 1-Arden kickstarts the Singapore GP with the “PR1X” Party on 29th September 2022. Expect an impressive line-up of international and local DJs, as well as tipples from The Orientalist Spirits and Silverleaf, also known as London’s hottest new cocktail bar. A night filled with your favourite libations, paired with breathtaking panoramic views of the circuit, this place makes for the perfect after-party for the race weekend.
From 30 September to 2 October, 1-Arden will also be hosting the Official Heineken Silver Parties, of which you can partake in race-themed activities like the kinetic racing game, or try your hands on the F1 simulator for a realistic experience of the adrenaline-pumping sensation of racing in a Formula 1 car. Aside from that, you can check out the F1 car Neon LED Display at the event, where you can grab some Gram-worthy shots with your friends while you party the night away.

Rooftop dining concept LeVeL 33 will be presenting an exciting feast from 30 September to 2 October 2022. Indulge and treat yourself to a lavish Winner’s Podium Sharing Menu which consists of sharing platters such as the Ultimate Surf & Turf featuring wagyu, West Australian marron and sides like Smoked Potato Puree, that you can munch on while watching the live televised broadcasts of the race. Alternatively, you can also pre-game by feasting on LeVeL 33’s Weekend Roast, that’s specially customised to pay tribute to the F1 races. Think — vibrant cocktails like the fruity, bright red Padang made with a unique blend of gin, strawberry puree and cranberry juice, or you can opt for the refreshing Stamford that’s made with a mix of Blue Curacao, Vodka and some Red Bull. To pair, the restaurant will also be serving themed snacks like the “Fast Track” Chicken Loaded Truffle Fries, as well as a hearty bowl of crispy fries topped with a housemade Chicken Bolo and Truffle Sand.
